Meet Kathryn Jonas IBCLC
Hi, my name is Kathryn and as a Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I offer both in-home and office visits to support families in reaching their feeding goals. My practice is dedicated to helping parents feel confident and supported in whatever feeding journey they choose—whether that’s breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, or formula feeding.
I specialize in infant feeding function, often referred to as tongue and oral ties. My approach is intentional and holistic, recognizing that not every restriction requires surgical release. There are many ways to optimize feeding and support both the baby and the parent, even when a release becomes part of the plan. My goal is always to help families make informed, individualized decisions that align with their values and circumstances.
I am deeply passionate about maternal mental health and understand that feeding challenges can feel overwhelming in the early weeks. Together, we’ll create a feeding plan that is compassionate, flexible, and sustainable—one that evolves as your baby grows and your family’s needs change. I believe feeding plans are not static; what works in the first week may look very different a month later. My role is to guide and adjust alongside you as those changes unfold.
Many families are surprised to learn that IBCLCs can provide expert guidance regardless of feeding method. Whether you are working through latch difficulties, bottle aversions, supply concerns, or transitioning between feeding types, I’m here to help without judgment. My goal is to support your unique feeding relationship in a way that promotes confidence, connection, and calm for both you and your baby.
Feeding your baby should feel supported, not stressful. I look forward to meeting you and your little one and walking alongside your family as you find your rhythm in feeding and nurturing your baby.

I received my Masters Certificate in Human Lactation in 2021 and have a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Development. My goal is to empower families to meet their feeding goals with their baby. I take into consideration: lifestyle, previous medical and mental health conditions, goals, postpartum experience, previous experience if relevant. All to tailor a plan for you and your baby. I use evidence based techniques to assist you and your family to meet your feeding goals.

You know your family, self and baby best. You could navigate this time alone, but we all know that adventures are more fun with friends and we could be a dream team.

It is important to me that I meet families where they are at. I inquire about goals, challenges, lifestyle all to develop a plan of action that will work best for your family. I operate free from judgement and really tailor my care to meet your families needs and goals.
